Coreboard Deflection Head Strips

Square edged coreboard cut into consistent strips for Shaftwall and other high traffic partitions where a tougher face is preferred. The straight, clean edge makes fixing at the head track quicker and gives a tidy finish for taping.

Fireline Deflection Head Strips

Fireline plasterboard converted into head strips for tested gypsum systems. A lighter facing that scores easily on site, well suited to rapid installation and straightforward detailing.

Where are deflection strips used?

Install at the slab or soffit to allow vertical movement while keeping the fire stop continuous at the partition head. Pre cut strips remove most site trimming, reduce waste and support the required fire and acoustic performance at linear joints.
