About Us

Johnsons Insulation Supplies Ltd is a family run business that prides itself in providing a quality service to the building industry and allied trades.

Established in 1984, our range of products has continually grown and we now offer one of the best all round packages in the south of England. Our technical expertise is vast and has been developed over many years.

Fire protection, Thermal and Acoustic Insulation materials and systems are stocked in depth. Very competitive prices, coupled with our rapid delivery service make us leaders in our field. We are able to cut to size most materials saving our customers time and money on site.

Specific requirements are met by our ability to laminate any combination of materials at short notice. Johnson’s Insulation Supplies Ltd is located in Johnson House, 3 Victoria Way, Burgess Hill in West Sussex and our hours of business are 7.30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. Please feel free to call in and see for yourself what we have to offer. Our other two branches are located in Whitstable (Kent) & Eastleigh (Hampshire).

Our History

1984

Johnsons insulation supplies founded. Tim & Ann Johnson with 1 delivery driver. Started out with one machine which was used after hours to cut strips in the back of a laminating factory.

1985

Took on first member of the sales team.

1986

Inheritance meant Ann & Tim could purchase the first brand new Johnsons branded lorry. Moved into first residence as primary owners, based in Station Road, Burgess Hill.

1990

Started a second depot in Whitstable, Kent.

1991

Expanded with more staff in Burgess Hill.

1994

Started fabricating and laminating insulated plasterboards.

2002

Moved into 16 Victoria Way, had a 2nd cutting machine fitted & purchased our first HGV.

2010

Opened the third depot in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

2014

Installed dedicated laminating booth to ensure quality & enable higher production quantities.

2017/2018

Purchased the first 26T vehicle with self-offloading capabilities.

2018

Co-Founder Tim Johnson sadly passed away. The company continues to be successful under younger generations that continue Ann & Tims work.

2019

Moved to 3 Victoria Way, Burgess Hill. This is our current address.

Our Depot Delivery Coverage

The above graphic depicts the areas covered by all of our delivery services from each branch, ensuring quality insulation materials are promptly supplied across large parts of the South of England.

Our primary target area is covered by our central operation depot in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. We do cover further afield but this will then impose carriage fees. National coverage for insulation products across the UK can be provided via a courier network. This will also impose extra fees.
